ACB Radio Interactive Schedule HelpPress your browser's Back button to return to the schedule. The ACB Radio Interactive Schedule allows you to customise the program listing to suit your preferences. The following lists the available options and what they do.
Choose your timezoneThis option allows you to choose your timezone by selecting a country or region. The first item is UTC (GMT), followed by the standard U.S. timezones. The rest is an alphabetical list of countries and regions. Some timezones cover broad geographical regions, such as the European and African zones, whilst others are zones within countries such as Brazil, Mexico and Australia. Pick the timezone for your desired location. If you have a javascript enabled browser, the schedule will automatically determine your local timezone, assuming your computer's timezone settings are correct. If you run Windows, you may check these by going into the Date and Time settings in Control Panel. After determining your timezone, the schedule will then attempt to guess your geographical location. Since many countries use the same timezones and the fact that we are unable to tell whether or not you are on daylight savings time (see below), this guess may well be incorrect. However, the timezone we get from your browser should be OK and the programs should display correctly. We do suggest however that you set the location field to your actual location, as this will be necessary if you wish to then go on and change other display settings. We are aware that the list of locations, though expansive, is incomplete. If you find that your location or timezone is not included, please let us know and we will look into adding it to the list.
Daylight Savings/summer TimeMany places around the world put their clocks ahead one hour during the summer months. This is known variously as daylight, daylight savings, and summer time. If your location puts its clocks forward for summer and it is currently summer, select the Yes button so that the schedule can take this into account. Otherwise, select the No button.
Time FormatThis item is pretty self explanatory. Simply select the format in which you would like to see times displayed, either 12-hour (Am/Pm) format or 24-hour format.
Schedule FormatThe final two options affect the amount of detail in the schedule display. The first controls what times are shown. You can elect to see either the start and end times, the start time and duration, or the start time only. The second controls whether you are shown a short or long description of each show. Note that short descriptions will be shown if a long one is not available. bot these options are of course a matter of personal preference, and we invite you to set them as you prefer.
Remembering Your PreferencesOnce you have the schedule looking the way you want it, you may bookmark the page and your settings will be remembered whenever you use your bookmark to visit the schedule. Note that because your settings are remembered in the actual URL of the page, it's important that you actually apply the settings you want and that the schedule is displayed the way you want it before you bookmark the page.
